eccentric locking for quick, easy width adjustments. Female Knives also known as Bottom Knives are secured to the shaft a number of ways. In the case eccentric
locking knives the knife is turned counter to it’s direction of rotation causing a series of steel balls to collapse a ring onto the
arbor or knife shaft in the center of the bore. This design provides a secure locking action while minimizing the radial run out
of the female knife.
